I believe language skills are key to the success of every human endeavor. If we nourish a child’s thirst for communication skills from a very young age, the options available in his or her future will multiply. One way of enriching language skills is introducing a second language. It will add color, depth and texture to the child’s mothers tongue, as the child will compare and contrast the sounds. It will encourage the child to reach out to people of different cultures. My role in your child’s development is to “plant the seed” of the Spanish language, make them comfortable with the sounds of simple words and phrases, so they may expand and build upon those skills through their years at Academy at the Lakes and beyond.
