Tuition and Fees for 2008-09 Academic Year starting at:

Junior & Senior Kindergarten                $  9,320
1st – 4th grade                                      $10,850
5th – 8th grade                                      $12,330
9th – 12th grade                                    $14,840

 

Since financial circumstances are different for every family, Academy at the Lakes is pleased to offer several options for payment of tuition and fees. Please refer to the Tuition and Fees Chart for specific information. If a student is accepted for admission, the parents will be sent an enrollment agreement. In order to secure a place, the agreement and $1,000 deposit should be returned by the date indicated. This deposit will be applied toward tuition.




 
Financial Aid Application Procedure

Academy at the Lakes seeks motivated, talented students of strong character regardless of their family’s ability to pay. To this end, the Academy is committed to assisting families who demonstrate a measurable level of financial need but are still willing to assume as much responsibility as they are able for tuition and fees. In determining need, the guidelines of the School & Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS) are used. Financial Aid requests must be renewed annually, as awards are made for one year only.

1.  Parents complete the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) online at www.nais.org/financialaid/sss. Please be sure to answer all questions on the PFS and to provide additional, detailed explanation where appropriate.

         a.  Select Academy at the Lakes as a report recipient, School Code:
             1411

    1. Submit the PFS by February 15, 2008.
2. Send the following to Julia Loncar at Academy at the Lakes:

    1. A complete, signed copy of your 2007 Income Tax Return along with W-2 and all supporting schedules by March 1, 2008. If you own a business or farm, complete and submit a copy of your Business/Farm tax return as well.
    1. (Optional) A letter detailing financial circumstances not addressed by the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS).
3. Maintain a copy of all submitted documents for your records.

Once Academy at the Lakes receives all of the above information, the financial aid committee will meet and make a determination for financial assistance. Because of limited funds, adhering to all deadlines is important and it is the family’s responsibility to make sure the School receives all information in a timely manner.
