An appreciation for music is a gift we can give our children that will provide them enjoyment for the rest of their lives. I want my students to come away from our Strings class with an enjoyment of music whether or not they continue to play after they leave the Academy. I try to create a classroom environment where students can have fun while learning critical thinking and cooperative skills, as well as gaining confidence through solo and ensemble performances.
