I believe that the study of a musical instrument gives students a life-long vehicle for their creativity and active enjoyment, and a medium to develop their maximum musical potential. Studies have shown that involvement in music performance is a strong predictor of academic success. The main reason to be involved in music, however, is to have a joyful experience!
