As a teacher of young children, I believe that I am obligated to create a warm, safe, and inviting environment that fosters the love of learning. Further, each child is a gift and needs to be encouraged, loved, and guided to meet everyday challenges with enthusiasm. Children should be encouraged to strive to do their best yet, not pushed beyond their abilities. Life should be fun! Finally, each child needs to be nurtured in all areas of growth (social, emotional, and physical) to be a successful individual.
