Special Events

Occasions to enjoy the company of the members of the Academy at the Lakes community abound! Some special events, such as the annual Academy Golf Tournament and ISLAND BREEZE, AN ACADEMY AUCTION, are specifically designed with fundraising as their goal.
Others offer opportunities to participate in a fun day of activities, like the Fall Festival or Grandparents’ Day. Additionally, there are time-honored traditions. Once a year the entire school celebrates Friendship Week, a special week that begins with the Friendship Performance, and includes Grandparents’ Day, Pet Day, Buddy Reading Day and a House Day competition.
